These are unique to the 11 body style.

More parts that went missing while in paint jail (the first body shop).

I need both sides. Sucks that I didn’t realize until 6 months later.

This is great.  I wasn't too hopeful anyone would salvage these, but those in the picture look like the diagram of a regulator in my '65 Pontiac Body Manual for '11' style cars.  I think they may interchange with A-Body, but I'm not sure.

I didn't see a PM in my message box, so try again.  Thanks to both you guys for responding.  I'll take the pair.

Matt

Had a good talk with Larry about these parts the other day.  The parts he has are a mismatched set for 66 and 68 Chev.  They look correct, but it's possible they may not fit.  So I went to the public library and found a Hollander book from 1969 and found some good info.

The good news is that this particular regulator was used in the rear door or quarter window for B-O-P and Chev sedans and wagons, but it's '65 ONLY (not sure why since the '66 & '68 parts pictured below from Larry look similar to each other and to what I've seen in other pics.

The bad news is I'm also missing the rear run channel frame that the fuzzy gets inserted into.  From my research, this is 2 door post 65-66 Chev/Pontiac ONLY.  I'd need the part number from a '65-66 Chev body parts Catalog to confirm, but since the quarter glass is interchangeable, the rear run channel must be as well.

I can't imagine why that a-hole that had my car for 3.5 years removed those parts, he didn't do a damn thing anywhere near that opening.

The official Hollander interchange is listed below.

Rear quarter glass

Chev Pass ’65-66 2 dr sdn

                  Pontiac ’65-66 2 dr sdn

Rear window reg. 4474922-3

Buick ’65 LeSabre & Wildcat Sdn

Chev Pass. ’65 Sdn & SW

                  Olds ’65 Sdn, exc. 98

                  Pontiac ’65 Sdn & SW

Just a FYI to clarify. I have a matching set from my 68 and also have a set out of my 66 that I used for a comparison of the difference between the two sets I have.
I’m hoping that you can find your original set. Good luck in finding what you need Matt. Nice talking to you.

If you have the rear run channels for the 66, that would help. My guess is since 5&6 use the exact same glass, the run channels are similar. As for the regulators. The 66s may work but clearly there was a design change from 65 significant enough for Hollander to give them their own grouping.

I did find new rear (with lower bracket) and front run channels for these cars today online. Amazing.  I already bought the inserts this summer so I’d rather not buy parts I already have.

Matt I only have 1 set of run channels and regulators for my 66. I have a whole box of 66 window parts for a 66 with some spares. I just looked to see if I had any duplicates for the rears. Sorry to report I do not have any extras that I could sell you.☹️

More research shows that Hollander is wrong. Parts catalog shows a different part...much different.  The run channel for a 4 door is clearly different on how it’s fastened too.

So I’m pretty sure I’m sacked with getting parts from a 2d post.

However, there is a chance that 67-68 parts may work  stay tuned

Hi Matt,

I parted out a '66 Biscayne 2 dr. several years ago and I am sure I saved all of the glass, regulators, tracks, etc. I am from Adams MN which isn't too far from you if that matters. You can give me a call @(507)-438-seven two one one.

Thanks, Chad

That sounds good. A little closer than the 68 stuff. I’ll call this week.
