The Day You Get It and the Day You Sell It

Are said to be the happiest days in a boat owners life.  Not sure if that applies to Biscaynes too, but in any case our Biscayne has been sold.  It drove away yesterday and the cash is in hand.  I will certainly miss it and I feel fortunate to have had two 427 Biscaynes in my automotive life.  I've let the new owner know about Twodoorpost.com.  I think it has gone to a good home, the new caretaker likes big cars.  He also has a 60 Biscayne with a 454 and a 66 Pontiac 2+2.

Thanks to all here that have participated in my adventures, I will still be around.

Pat

Good to hear in a matter of speaking. always comforting in knowing it goes to a good home.
I have done the same in the past with a long time owned Corvair V8.

Is there another post car in your future.

The new owner is in Sacramento, so I will probably see it at shows from time to time. No more cars at this time, my goal was to have one less car.

Pat Congrats on the sale! I’m sure theres mixed emotions. Glad it’s gone to a good home. All the work you put into it I’m sure made it more pleasant to drive and pleasing to the eye for how they were. Great job for sure. Glad you had an opportunity to be the caretaker of this one for a while and probably relive some fond memories! Looking forward to hearing from you here ,I always enjoy your comments on whatever subject is “posted”!
