Our Biscayne is in the California Auto Museum

The California Auto Museum has a Car Club Cavalcade program where member car clubs can put a few cars in the museum for a month.  Pretty cool deal to get exposure, plus a month's free indoor storage!  I had to drive 40 miles in the rain to get there, but it did not melt.

I had the hood down,

then one of the Docents said you really should open the hood on this one.

Biscayne was joined by my friend Mel's Avanti II and his 34 Studebaker along with a '32 Ford Coupe.

I would have taken a few more pictures around the museum, but my ride home was hungry for breakfast.  I will try to get some later and add them to this post.

Well done Pat

She looks Fantastic under those lights.....are you, and can you advertise the car For Sale while at the museum? Perhaps that is a for sale sign in the quarter window, I just cannot read it.

Thanks Dan! No for sale signs in the museum, except on the cars they have for sale. I had to cover up my vinyl signs. What you see is a sign naming our car club. But, if you look close enough through the inside, you can see my For Sale and phone number.

Pat

Thanks guys, we may be taking our granddaughter to a couple museums in Sac on Thursday. Going to the Railroad museum first and if she is up for it, we will visit the Auto Museum. Will give me a chance to see how they are taking care of it.

That's a great idea allowing car clubs to display their vehicles. Keeps the display fresh. Congrats.

This museum has a very active car club program.  The Christmas tree you see is from a car club.  Clubs are invited to put up a tree in the museum decorated in any style they like (no lights though).  We put them up on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and have a huge pot luck meal and raffle that supports the Museum.  This year there were 22-25 clubs that participated.  All different types of cars are represented,  They have club memberships where the clubs can use the museum meeting room to hold a meeting or get free entry passes.  The Museum represents California well.  https://www.calautomuseum.org/

Here is the display sign they put up for our Biscayne.  A combination of their own research and info I provided.
