Here’s a few pics of a 1966 Biscayne I have acquired. Plans call for a frame off, nut and bolt redux with a major altitude adjustment ( sitting like a super stocker a bit nose high) and a few Day 2 Speed parts mixed in. This will be a very slow process for me but I have some Really Good Guys in my corner for this project.

The car will receive a Big Block a M-21 and a 4 link 12 bolt along with a complete SMS fawn color interior. Rough cast Americans up front and 9.00-15 pie crust cheater slicks out back on body colored open steelies.

This one is solid enough to do this too it needs a bit of patching but nothing like my 68 needed !

i will update from time to time as I acquire more goodies!

Thanks for lookin

Larry

Thanks for the comments  Kevin Pat,Geoff and Dan!
Todd I’m leaning heavily towards the Ermine White right now. Although I’m not a big fan of it it’s growing on me. I can really see it with the right stance and wheels and tires along with a Jenkins Competition front license plate
I’m kind of limited on the exterior color choices. Reason being my buddy I got the car from already has the door and 1/4 trim panels, carpet, dash pad etc etc.
The other choices I have been entertaining are

M Aztec Bronze

T Sandalwood Tan

I am open to opinions guys

Thanks
Larry

A lot of classic race cars were white.

75328988-8B16-4892-AF8D-7B4B9B59FBFB.jpegThanks Brad it’s gonna be a fun project for sure.
Just a quick update. I had a 1/18 scale die cast of a 66 Biscayne for a long time and figured I could do a quick color change and wheel and tire swap to do a “loose” representation of my goal with the real car. I added headers a open element air cleaner. I made a photo reduced Jenkins Competition front license plate and made some tow hooks. I had some doubts about the Fawn interior at first because of the limited exterior color choices. The suggestion of white took me a bit to wrap my head around especially with the Fawn interior color. Crazy as it sounds a Jenkins Competition front license plate sealed the deal for me. I saw one over the summer on a nice black on black 66 Chevelle and I remembered it. The vision of my car burned in my head so Ermine white and Fawn it is.
There’s different rear wheels on the rear , one with a open body colored steelie with a cheater slick and one with a ET lll style wheel and a pie crust slick. I like them both I’m open to comments, suggestions and criticism.
Here’s some pics
Thanks for looking
Larry

721AFA75-8526-443C-9A3D-A6B7061B24DA.jpegI knew in the beginning that I would need these parts so between me and a buddy of mine I found and purchased 2 NOS 1/4 panel emblems and a pair of NOS complete taillight assembly’s. I also have a wagon that is being scrapped due to a hard collision to source most of the metal patches I will need.
Here’s some parts pics
