"I used to own a Post bench 4 speed Rallye 350 back in 2006. The paint, interior, and trunk were all original. I pulled the body off the frame and restored the chassis and engine and reinstalled the body.  About 2010 I sold the car due to hard times as I lost my job. Every time I would talk to my buddy in Colorado he would ask "How does it feel to be Rallye less?". I told him I would have another one someday but this time it would be a survivor and all original. He said he was going to win the Lotto for me. This went on for three or four years.

One day in May of 2014 my phone rang and it was my buddy Ray from Colorado. He asked if I was sitting down. I said I was and asked why. He said a kid contacted him and said his dad had a Olds Rallye for sale and asked "Do you know anyone interested in buying it?"

My buddy Ray asked me to look at the pictures the kid sent him. Ray said "This son of a bitch is 100% original and numbers matching with 54k on the odometer! He has tons of paperwork!". My jaw hit the ground in awe... Ray said "Hello are you still there??". All that came out of my mouth was "Survivor!". He said "Yes!".

I aksed Ray to send me all the photos and to get a price.. I looked everything over for a few days then had Ray put me in contact with the kid. Kellen and I talked and put a deal togther. I had to go to the bank and get a loan. I didn't want to do this but there was no way I was going to lose this Ralllye 350!

Before you know it Reliable delivered it to my home. When had the car in my possession I had to do a lot of cleaning from top to bottom. The car was filthy!

The only thing I would like to do besides drive it is find a set of G70-14 Uniroyal Tiger Paws which are the original tires that came on the car. I found a set last year but when I received them they where junk. In the meantime I will probably install a set of four G70-14 Goodyear Polyglass tires and drive and enjoy the the Rallye."
