Not a Post Sedan, however definitely worth educating and sharing

Today -  Joe and I pulled out of storage his very unique and special one of one twin engine 1966 Oldsmobile Toronado.

Perhaps some of you remember the article and the publicity this car acheived in 1967.

This Toronado was built by the Grant Company.

In 1966 Grant MacCoon along with his father built this twin engine Toronado, featuring 850 cubic inches and producing 770 horsepower. Air scoops in the rear of the car are the only modifications done to the exterior of the car. Inside the full interior remains. The car features 4 wheel drive and the twin engines can be run individually or simultaneously. The rear of the car was modified using the front frame section (and motor) from another Toronado. The car became Grant’s daily driver after it was finished. Grant liked performance, but he also enjoyed a big comfortable car and this car gave him the best of both worlds.

She Has been in storage for approximately seven years, awaiting her turn for Restoration. Joe and I had to push the car today for approx 20 feet....clearly the heaviest car I have ever had to push

Stay tuned for this very exciting restoration.

Now that looks like it’s going to be a super fun and challenging restoration. I can just imagine what the driving experience will
be with all that Torque!😀

Wow, what an amazing car. I am a little surprised that it was allowed to deteriorate like that.

Very cool car Dan, Quite a bit of engineering. Don't think I have ever seen 2 gas pedals before.
