Today - I mated the 5 Speed Tremec Trans to the Engine and Installed the Engine and Trans

Really looks nice Dan. Those air cleaner bases were really well engineered for air flow. At the track, guys discovered that they would run faster with the base in place, even if they took the filter element and lid off.

Call me crazy but as I was building the Beast I would get done with a part or project on it and stare at it for a bit! I really enjoy seeing other cars go together devil is in the details.

Some car guys, car restorers, or car enthusiasts argue the point of what is the correct plating for the alternator fan and or pulley on 1969 BBC Engines.
Here is the proof once again......this pulley came of an original low mileage BBC.
I separated and removed the pulley and fan blade for the very first time.
The back side of the pulley is exposing the nice silver zinc plating
