Check out the fender badges (and wheels) of this Biscayne. Likely a four door which makes it all the more interesting!

And disc brakes too most likely, based on the rims and caps.

The story behind this photo is there was a man holed up in the gun shop. Shots were fired. You can see a cop stooped down beside the Pontiac (at least that's what it looks like) in front of the building.

With that many police vehicles there, I was wondering what the story behind the photo was.

Looks like the Biscayne in front of the motor cycles is similar. At least the wheels and caps.

It just means the cars almost certainly had front disc brakes. In 67-68 disc brakes required this wheel. When I was a teenager i saw a 68 Biscayne cop car with these  wheels. My neighbour also had a 68 Biscayne wagon with them. Both cars had disc brakes.

Did they not use the flat Police caps on disc brake equipped police cars in Canada? This is the first picture I've seen of '68 police cars with derby caps instead of the flat caps.

Chad,

The Canadians will use anything that resembles a Hockey Puck
