Winter Project - Rear sway bar
Permalink

Well, I just scored an original B-body rear sway bar from Jon K over on the SS427 message board. He also had all the install hardware including C&C made spacers to go along with it.  As long as I am doing this, I also plan to box the lower control arms.  My thought is to use the Chevelle box kit sold by OPGI  https://www.opgi.com/chevelle/RCAI001/  Anyone have experience with that?

Pat

It has arrived!  Real one removed from a car, plus install hardware

Pat,

Fantastic......however I would not use those gold plated grade 8 bolts. That is not correct. The gold will stick out like a sore thumb.

Metal rescue will remove the gold color. Boxing plate kit for A-body wont work due to sjze and shape differences. I made my own from 1/8" plate
