Us here. We have been picking away slowly at the garage. Work and Christmas and trips to the doctor keeping us busy.
Drywall is up on ceiling. Muddling in the spring. Still have to install a door and window. Waiting for a final quote on a hoist.

As far as the cars. They are in a warm garage. Next week we are going to look into a fire and security alarm for the garage. Having heat in there , although safe. I am still concerned for our safety specially for fire.
The list goes on.

I got my front seat back from the upholsterer and wrestled in there with the help of my wife. Seating position is much better but will take some getting used to. I would like to find a correct 68 style bench seat without head rests or chrome trim, but that is a low priority item.

'Tis the season for car club Christmas parties, had one last Sunday and another one today.

Did you have the seat rebuilt for more comfort. Was it modified from stock.

It is not the correct seat for the car. Probably from a Caprice or something similar. While the upholstery was ok, it had a broken spring and the foam under the driver was pretty crushed. You sank way into it when you sat behind the wheel. Now much better.

Took the Biscayne out today to get its heart pumping and fluids flowing. Needed to pick up a gift at Lowe's. That big trunk came in handy. Was fun rumbling around town.

Also, the odometer went to 777777!  I wanted to take a picture, but was in traffic where I could not stop to do it.

After working 43.5 years in a large steel mill, I hear "crickets" all the time. First 18 years, no ear protection but once we got earplugs I did wear them religiously. I can "tune" it out somewhat but the crickets are always there. I wear earmuffs with volume control when watching tv. I can hear without driving my Lady friend "more" crazy.

We hear frogs more often than crickets. Been following everyone's progress on their projects.

After about a 30 year absence I'm starting to get the urge to build models again. I'm currently renovating a spare room in my house to serve as a bit of a man cave so once that's done I'll have a place to work. How did you do the upholstery patterns? Decal?

Thanks for the comments Dan I love things in scale and doing detail work!
Yes Todd the upholstery iare decals .The door cards and front seat are decals in the kit the rear seat is done in a boomerang pattern from scale motorsports. Reason being the “black widow” kit did not have a back seat and the bel air kit had the back seat I wanted but the decal color for it was silver so I just improvised. This build is a “shelf piece”!
Thanks for asking looking forward to seeing your builds once you get started!

It has been a off summer for us. most of my weekends off we went to the cottage with such great weather. we made it to half a dozen cruise nights including one car show. Hard to believe summer is at its end.
I did a tiny bit of work on the Belair.

Tomorrow morning leaving to head to Ryan's place to check out his car, pick up a part. then off to Michigan.
