Bingo! That's my line

I hire young apprentices and some of them think they can set bearing clearances with an I-Pod

I work at a Chrysler dealer (service consultant). The techs spend what seems like 80% of their day doing software updates. Trans shifting funny? There's a software update for that. Heater blowing cold no matter what direction you turn the knob? There's a software update for that. Radio locked up? Too late, you didn't get the update in time...disbelief

I took my new car in for a rod knock at cold start up, and they did a software update for the oil system valve control blah blah!!! (They are still jerking me around to try not to replace the engine)

Ask, to speak to the manager - in person......tell him, enough of this game playing - you want a new engine or else you are going to contact your lawyer.

Neither one of you would make it as a stand up comic, stick with your day job

THAT is so frighteningly true, it isn't even funny. Technology has replaced actual intelligence regarding today's kids.
