Very, very cool......I am happy you got to meet Don. I LOVE his 300 Deluxe!

Look in the corner Could that be a Dusk Blue '69 Nomad?

Nice! Good looking cars and sounds like a win-win situation.  I really like the Catalina, definitely not something you see very often.

Ya it works out pretty good except it's getting harder and harder to get my wife on the plane to come back to Iowa. I tried getting a better pic of the Catalina but it had crowds around it all day.

No. I was down there Wednesday and he said he's waiting for the soda blaster guy to call him back. So right now it's still as it was when I Dropped it off.

It's all good. I was aware when I brought the car to him he wasn't going to start on it right away.
I just really needed to get it out of my raccoon infested storage garage and he said I could store it down at his shop.

Haven't posted in a little while. Media blaster came down and stripped the whole car a couple 3 weeks ago. At least now I can see what I have.

Loaded the old girl up on the trailer today and brought her home. Can really see a lot of stuff that I didn't see before now that's it's one color.

Yes it does feel good to see some progress.

Today I spoke with the new owner of Darren's 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan Chevelle.

Darren did a great Job of owning the car and having the car established, identified, authenticated and registered by yours truly.

Darren, I wish you and your family the very best in Florida. Hope you stay with us.....just because you have sold your Post Sedan....you are certainly always welcome to continue to hang with us. Please keep us posted with your new surroundings in Florida.
I love Florida....lots of great memories in Florida.

I have invited and welcomed the new owner, Carl to join us.....hopefully Carl will be with us in a few days to do our introductions.
Carl is a good car guy.

I wish Carl the very best with his newest venture.....welcome to the 1969 SS396 300 Deluxe Post Sedan Chevelle Family.

Dan

Thanks Dan,
So the reason I haven't posted anything new in what looks like 4 years (wow time flies) is because I've done nothing with the Chevelle at all since it came back. I put it in the garage and there it sat. I've been working on interiors non-stop which is my own fault for not taking time for myself but that how's it goes being in business by yourself and a back log of vehicles to do. Well my wife got her dream job in Florida so off we are going. My best friend Carl who I've know since we were like 14 (so 35 years) asked me if I was going to sell the car. And I said to you? Yes.
Carl helped me bring it home when I purchased it 15 years ago. I knew I'd never get it done and I know he will. So thanks to everyone who followed this thread. Hopefully Carl will start his own and I can follow his journey with the car.

Thanks,
Darren
