For our first feature car I'm proud to showcase Mark Barton's (a.k.a  Bisqik) '66 L72 Biscayne. Mark's 2 door post is the epitome of what this website is all about.

You can read all about Mark's Chevy here: http://twodoorpost.activeboard.com/t53497539/my-1966-l72-biscayne/

 Cheers,

   Todd

Congratulations Mark . Your car is very deserving of being featured. And the best part I like is ....you drive your car! And I don't mean on and off a trailer and nothing more than first gear idling around a parking lot.lol

Wow - what a nice piece Mark.......course I love the 66's......we have an Impala,

which by the way would look killer towing your Biscayne to the track on a tow bar........winner.gif

Super looking 2 door post..........and thrashing it like you do is all the better

 happy motoring

Bernie

Mark, your car is awesome!! It will be hard for anyone to top this feature especially with the professional photography.

That vintage picture with the multi color paint job is pretty cool.

Hey Mark, Jerry from Missouri.

I read the article on the motor hood, great wright up.

I used to go to Thunder Valley in Bethany every week end back in late 60s and early 70s.

Probably saw this car run but 50 some years later not sure.

I have a 66 Bel Air 82,450 original miles only it's a 4.1 six.

Still love the body lines and a gas to drive.

Congrats on your fulfilling dream.

Happy motoring

I was out and about last weekend, and saw a GORGEOUS '65 Impala SS that was Danube Blue with Blue interior. Made me think of my Mark's '66 Biscayne.
I would LOVE if my Biscayne was this color originally, but am glad it's Black on Red too.

I need to get this car out of storage it has been quite a while since I have driven it and after looking at the pictures I am busting now for a drive. I will get it out of its slumber in the next couple of weeks
