Andrew,

Welcome aboard

Very nice Hot Rod '68 Post Sedan! Nicely done. Hard to tell by the pics....it is a custom color?

Did she start out as a 250 6 cylinder or a 307? What size engine now 502 punched out to 511? Fiberglass bumpers?

Please do tell.

Dan

Nice fasteners throughout the engine bay.....are they from Stainless Steal Products? I see your console / console door is a 1970-72 model. Your A-pillar covers are in nice shape....they are the padded type not steal correct?

To answer some of your Questions about my 1968 Chevelle 300:
Originally a 300 series chevelle with a 307 and powerglide, radio delete and rubber floormats I bought this car in the summer of 1982 for 400 bucks and man was it rough, at least it was pretty much rust free! Had to laugh, someone took a cutting torch to the hood and cut a giant hole in it for a velocity stack air cleaner. That 2 BBL 307 needed some air I guess! Here are some before pics.chevelle83 001.jpghealth insurance.jpg

Interior Modifications:
6 point roll bar, custom upholstery on seats, Malibu door panels. world war 2 hand grenade shifter handle on B&M shifter. 1971 center console. A pillar covers are padded and mint originals

I'd be willing to say that, with this combo, and the fact the cage is 6 point and not 10, you are running around the 535HP range...

Hey guys, I made a few changes to my 68 300! Hung all the chrome back on it and put a stock hood on too! Took forever to find a good rear bumper to replace the fiberglass racing bumpers!

I like the look with the bumpers and stock hood. Jmo but I've always felt 1968 GM A-bodies are the hardest to find body/trim/bumpers etc. Nice car.
