Thanks everyone for the positive commentssmile, the cars I see on here definitely give me inspiration. Plan is to keep the car as stock/sleeper looking as possible. The few exceptions are the steering upgrade, dual master cylinder conversion, V8 and 4 spd. You probably noticed in the photos showing the backing plates, I am sticking w/ the front drums (all new parts and dual mstr) for now. Have gotten a lot of grief on other sites for that, but it will be a cruiser and I like the stock finned drums(call me crazy). More pics coming.

Nothing really wrong with 4 wheel drum brakes when they are working right,and should do just fine in your lite weight car. Disc upgrade can be done easily later down the road if need be. I need to see if my paint shop buddy can get me some SEM products.

Excellent work      Don't forget to get it oiled biggrin    Keeps the rust away ....   Around here, the gravel roads add a little dust to the oil and really covers up the undercarriage
