Thank you Dan! I almost forgot about those 3 aspects of your build that are so cool:
-hub caps on drag lites
-N25 rear bumper treatment
- Stage 2 hood scoop

That Car is gonna be awesome!

Thanks Kevin.....after a very long search. I finally found two original front fenders for my Buick. I did not want to deal with rust repair and I did not want reproduction front fenders on my Buick. These fenders are in amazing condition for being 47 years old. The left front fender I picked up and purchased in Michigan on my way back home from PSMCDR's. The right front fender I found in Arizona, I had a car restorer deliver it to me at MCACN.
I will post pictures soon.

Dan

Wow, what a great story so far. Just spent quite a while going from page 1 to 9. Great progress Dan and still a long ways to go. It will be a great one! After seeing the Chevelle at MCACN I understand how your personal car gets put on the back burner. Looking forward to progress whenever it occurs.

Todd,

The repop fenders are not that bad at all, I have seen other GM Reproduction Fenders that are way worse the Buick Front Fenders - Having said that, one must know who to buy them from, as they are not all the same....there is an entire lesson one has to educate themselves on 1970-72 Buick Front Fenders......there are Original Front Fenders, First Design NOS Front Fenders, Second Design NOS Front Fenders and Reproduction Front Fenders.

The trained eye can spot all 4.

I was privileged to receive a quick lesson on Buick fenders on Leslie's car at PSMCDRs.

I love this part of the hobby.

By the way, keep your hands off our fenders, you can not switch them now.
