I think this has so much potential, would love to hear Dan's opinion on this one.  For me:

-rust issues are a big detriment

-looks like original post trim and post interior including batwing wheel, big plus!

-manual trans. so cool on a Buick

-is it a repaint?  if it was, is it possible this car was originally Fire red code 75?

Love it, especially being a manual trans car

There are DEFINETELY....rust issues with this Post Sedan, all stemming (IMO) from the last prior paint job....I say vital steps were ignored. I would love to know if she really is a real Fire Red paint car.

The same interior as my Buick....other than I have an original rubber mat

Dan

That trunk picture and the shot of the hood hinge area confirm original red car. Original zolotone guaranteed and it's pretty tough to duplicate that. Not a red fan here but the car deserves some love fo sho.

3 on the  tree in  1970  ,  rare  , there was less  and less std  trans  cars  as the  70 s came

i look  at the dash  and  i see GEN  as for generator  ,  stil usung  that term  even if  generators  where called alternators  with  the 12 volt since  63   i  think

nice  car  and  i pray to God  it stays the way  it  his  ,  just  a warm up  on that  350  and  that s it

I hear ya but if I bought it the ink wouldn’t even be dry on the new title and I would already cut the floor for a 4 speed. I’d save the section in case a purist ever wanted to close it up again and go back to the tree.

I had a 54 Chevy with 3 on the tree. Once I got the linkage adjusted properly I found it fun to drive.

Back in H.S. I had a 1955 Chevy 210 2 door post sedan 3 on the tree. I also had to adjust the linkage a "few" times. It's been 52 years since adjusted them "even" lined up across in neutral. I couldn't afford a Foxcroft or a Spark-O-Matic floor shifter let alone a big $$$ Hurst shifter. Rare car but it needs a special type of buyer. One that's appreciates it's a post car and low optioned. Imo, the buyer should either not get carried away, just clean, rebuilt and refurbish making it a good driver or bite the bullet and frame off it, (money pit).
