Great stuff there Geof. Thanks for the progress pics.
I found with my pictures that they used to do the same thing to me as yours. My solution was to turn my camera/ phone sideways when I take The pictures. When I do this the pictures and videos will load correctly. Hope that helps, keep up the great work and progress!!

Here are a few more pics of the finished product. Had a few problems getting the old girl running properly, got it all sorted out. The complete overhaul on the muncie shifter turned out great. Went to my first car show last weekend. I think I will be putting the disc brake setup on it for next year,. Those front drums are not the best. Lots of fun to drive. I have my fingers crossed these pics are not upside down!

Geof,

Don't feel bad I make this same mistake often.....I have called Apple and told them that they need a photo "arrow" on all newly made products reminding us Car Guys which way to hold the camera....kind of like the same arrow found on the fuel door arrow (what side) on dash instrumentations

This is one of my favorite cars nice job! And manual steering big block, that’s a real mans car right there. 2 questions:

1- do you need a special tool to install the factory style hose clamps?
2- is that a fuel line cooler at the front of the engine?

Thanks Ryan, hopefully see you at a cruise. Do you ever get down to Johnny B Goods sat. night cruise?
Thanks Kevin. As far as the hose clamps, just a 3/8 nut driver or socket, they can be a pain to re-use them. That is the factory style fuel filter, it has the 1/4 inch return line back to the tank. Part# GF432 The 335hp and the 390hp had the return line, I don't think the 425hp had it.

If the tower hose clamps are repops, I never re-use them.....they are a one time only application, as they are very poorly made.
The originals are totally different and much better.

I use a socket with my right hand and an adjustable wrench in my left hand when tightening.....keeping pressure on the clamp to hold it straight and true, other wise they like to walk and not go in straight.
