That is a tough one my eyes are peeled, and I looked through all my saved files... only a 1969 SS396 Convert sold in Hamilton but L78 so built in the US.... BAL? I can't remember. Ryan

On the lookout.

Just curious. What are the production numbers on such a car. Few I imagine.

www.chevellestuff.net/1969/style_prod_no.htm

Numbers are a little fuzzy....

Looks like 514 V8 13667 convertibles built at Oshawa noted as IMPORT. (But I assume the bulk of these were sold locally not imported to the US)

Is there anything unique to Oshawa built versions?

Yes, a long lost of oddities....making it a more difficult car to restore than the US version.

The 68's are quite different but 69's got more like the US cars. I have looked at an original owner, original paint 68 SS396 and there was body colour all over the place
