Getting ready to start my restoration on my 69 w-30. Bought off the original owner bought new from Chesrown olds from Ohio. Its a bench seat 4 speed with 391 gears. 22000 mile car.

I love that color on the 69 project. I also saw how the W30 sticker was below the marker light. Was that a factory-applied sticker, or did someone add that later in the car's life? I remember Ryan's car's original owner didn't want the stickers so the dealership provided them separately (am I right Ryan?)

Blue W30:

I am very confident those W30 stickers are not original

My car:

Al didn't want the stickers or the hood stripes.

I know the car came with stripes and he had the car painted and didn't have the stripes repainted.

I "assume" the W31 stickers were on the fenders but he did give me a set of W31 stickers he intended to put on the car one day. (I can't tell you if he got these stickers when the car was new or if he bought them later?) I will ask next time we visit.

A lot of time has passed and minute details like this may or may not be on top of the mind
