I was wondering if someone might know if the brake booster from power drums would be the same as power disc booster on a 1969 full size Chev.

Geof,

You will need to change out the master cylinder and the rod. As far as the exact difference between the boosters, call Steve Gregori at Brakeboosters.com
I personally have switched them out with never a problem on GM A-bodies. NOT SURE on The GM Full Size.

Same booster as drum brakes. Can't remember if rod is different for master but I think it's the same.

I'm so used to manual brakes I find it difficult to drive a car with power brakes.lol
