Wow, Tommy thanks for posting that great resource! That is an interestingly optioned BelAir. Also I question if those tail pipes are correct if it is an L72 car.

Quick update: This weekend I finally went looking for the transmission stamp.  The code appears to be GM 3925656, which is a Saginaw 4-speed as far as I can tell.

Just a few quick updates on some of my small projects.  I purchased new tires all around and refurbished the old wheels with new Argent silver paint.  I also mimicked Pat by replaced the rear coil springs and shocks.  Now that the weather is warm enough I should get back to cleaning up the floor pans and pouring the SEM rust-shield.

Good see you are keeping busy! How about a before and after side shot? Did the stance change any with the new springs? How about the ride?

Pat,

I finished up after dark last night, so I haven't had a chance to take it for a ride nor do I have a new picture.  I'll be sure to take some pictures this coming weekend.  AFAICT, the rear is about .25-.5 inches higher, but I doubt that would make a noticeable difference (and may even disappear once everything is settled).
