1969 2 door post - Interior B-pillar Moldings question

Was finally able to locate a set of B-pillar moldings.. Quick question..

There is a "hook" or "tab", not sure what to call it on one end of the molding. Does that go to the top, or the bottom when mounting? The original one I had, that part was broken off..

Thanks for any input.

Justin

Welcome aboard, Justin. I am no expert with the '69's, but there are a few here that are that will be able to answer that question. You DEF came to the right place.
We LOVE build pics, too. Any photos of your '69?

So I figured out which way the moldings go on.. Anyone have any idea what size screw to use? I cant seem to find a size that works and I dont want to wreck the holes. Tried 6/32 and 8/32 but nothing seems to fit..

No worries on the wait.. Will be a while till I can work on it anyways..

Do you know what size screws to use for them? I cant seem to find anything that feels like it fits right. Not sure if there is paint in the threads or not, just worried about stripping anything..
