"My 9,700 mile 66 F85 has been freed from 2.5years of captivity in the garage. I had it out for the first time Sunday to the Lemont Cruisers cruise night but forgot the camera. The photos were taken last night, Tuesday, at the Tinley Park IL. cruise night. The car seems to be doing very well and only seems to need more advance on the timing.  The car went thru a engine, trans and rear end transplant from a 6 cylinder, automatic, small rear to a 455, super t10, 12 bolt 3.42 posi, power disc brakes, power steering."

Sexy ride man!!

What version of the ST10?

Borg-Warner Super T-10 X-code 2.64 1.61 1.23 1.00

I am very interested in this combination with 3.42 rear end gears. To my research this looks like the best all around gear ration combination without going to an overdrive transmission.......... I have to feel my M20-3.42 before making any changes

What a beauty. Nice work. I especially love the dual snorkel air cleaner.

Jim that is one sharp looking car,I really like the color. You sure don't find them with that kind of mileage very often.

Dan,

There were over 12,000 cars at the show. A typical turnout for this show and too many to see it all.

Included were to many to count post 1955 2doorpost cars there. If I had to guess I would say 400-500. Since the majority of pre-1955 two door cars were post cars I do not include them in that number. Once again I had to kick myself for forgetting the camera again. I would have overloaded this website if I posted all that I saw.

The 1970 Olds I posted last week does belong to one of my friends up there. I did not come back empty handed either. The same friend had his 64 Cutlass for sale and I could not pass it up. It was that nice. He is downsizing due to new city ordinances.

Congrats Jim

We are waiting for pictures of your newest Oldsmobile. I am sure she will look great among the rest of your stable.
