Hi everyone, Im new to the site and new to the post car family! I bought a very nice 67 chevelle 300 deluxe. The car itself is gorgeous body wise and steel wise. I dont know if its a special car thats what im here to find out smile . I love all post cars i think theyre cool and unique. Mine is a factory 327 chevelle, 2 speed powerglide, p/s, p/b, front disc, factory a/c car, 10 bolt posi from factory with LSD, 764 black interior bench car, CC white exterior, Factory soft ray tinted glass all around, deluxe seat belts. Is this a special 300 deluxe at all?

Welcome Corey,

All "Post Sedans" are special

Yours is one of the few which is highly optioned.....which is very cool.
My one question is.....have you done research to find out if your car originally came equipped with disc brakes.....or were they installed by a previous owner.
How about some under hood pictures.

Dan

No....vin and tag will not tell you any options unless it is a Canadian built Chevelle.

Post under hood pictures.

One could look under the carpet or on top of the fuel tank for a possible build sheet.
Seeing as how your 300 was originally Ermine White (CC?), it's likely the build sheet isn't on the gas tank anymore. Worth a look tho in case the tank wasn't dropped/removed.

Lawrence,

Build sheets were more plant specific on their locations....let's allow Corey to give more info before we send him on a goose chase.

VERY NICE car      you won't have any trouble getting rid of the none stock SS hood

and you can flip the existing tires Blackwall onto black plain rims with the dog dish hubcaps

The other members can help you with decisions on removing the carpet and seats

I personally think the Silver rims compliment the car better, but that's just me.
Great looking 300, regardless.

Welcome from West Chester PA, your 67 300 Deluxe is beautiful! I love how it still retains the 300 Deluxe emblems on the rear quarters and correct rear cove emblem. I see a lot of these cars where those 300 deluxe emblems are removed/ lost/taken off. Tough to find those parts but you still have them which is great.
