Another 64 Plymouth Belvedere 2Dr Post

Hello, recently told about this site and thought I'd check it out.  Being that I have a 2 Dr post car it's the right place to be.  I purchased this Plymouth in 2014 and completed a rotisserie restoration on it shortly after.  I built the old Plymouth to the way I like them and as a reminder of the old days when I hot rodded them as a teenager.   Check it out.

Mike, Thanks for coming by, taking a look and deciding to join us. Glad to have ya here.
Stunning build you have there, she turned out beautiful. I would LOVE to have a rotisserie at my disposal.

Dan, thanks for the welcome and the compliment on the Belvedere as well as the Camaro.  Actually I've owned the Camaro for almost 20 years.  Always a small block stick car and remains that way today, although it's a 427 roller now with a Tremec magnum 6-speed.  The Plymouth hasn't hit the track yet but plans are come summer time.

Thanks again for the welcome.

Mike.

Thanks for the tip on this site.  Glad to be here.  Thanks for the compliment on the Max Wedge too.  It's all my own work, except for the seat upholstery and door panels.  My rotisserie actually attaches to my 4 post hoist.  It's not portable but it doesn't need to be.  I also built a portable paint booth so I assemble it and slide it over the whole unit when it's time to paint.

Good luck with your quest on a Road Runner.  You had better think long and hard on that one though.  That left quarter took a terrible hit and there's a lot of big bent damage.  I did a 69 Super Bee for a guy and by the time I was done it had 23 new AMD panels put on it.  That Bee was a lot better to start with than that Runner.   Just saying.    Either way, enjoy!

See you around.

What a great car! I also love that plate. Welcome to the forum, we'll look forward to reports on how she runs at the track.

Hi Pat and thanks for the compliment and the welcome!  The plan is to get it on the track this summer.  The current combination is a 440 block stroked to 526, full roller with Max Wedge Victor race heads with the Indy NSS intake.  A ProTrans with a brake and a narrowed 4.10 Dana finish it up.  There are some changes in the engine combination that I'll be doing before it hits the track yet.  That is one fine looking 68 Biscayne that you have!  I love the post cars.

Thanks Bisqik!  That's quite a line up of cars that you have.  I have a friend who has been working on a 62 Max Wedge since 1980!  It's a work in progress.
