I personally was never fond of this system.....more for esthetics. IMO, the SBC and BBC engine design is proven and esthetically pleasing....I say leave a good design and product alone.

I had one of those kits once. Was part of a crazy 8-71 blower kit for sbc. Got it cheap but later sold it all to get into bigblock stuff.

I had a Summers Brothers front drive distributor setup in my small block chevy powered Pinto.

I was around 22 years old when my neighbor gave me the pinto. She crash the nose in 73 and her husband put it in the garage to fix it and that never happened. It only had 6,000 miles on it.

I had to cut the firewall out to fit the 350 chevy in with rear oil sump. Small block Ford would have been a lot easier.

On it's maiden voyage.  I moved the front seat back around 10 inches to compensate the firewall being moved back.
