Rob, the 230 page shows the 66-70 engines and heads have the same numbers alike. That must be a type-O you think

Ya. The 194 & 230 have the same crank. The 230 & 250 have same block. The 194 head has a closed chamber and 230/250 is open chamber. Chart is from same book , yes.

Thanks Kevin. This car spent all of its life in California, 99983.0 original miles when I bought it in 1980, I have only put 47,000 on it since 1980. The new eng. will be # 2. First one 194 had cracks above the cam. Here is # 1 eng

Dan that eng. was the first one. It will only be Displayed in a scrap book. Second one 194 or 230 will be kind of a rat rod looking eng no new paint or painted nuts & bolts. The car sat in my back yard for the last 20 yrs collecting a real good looking neglected paint job. So why not join the rat rod runners, I have the paint job so I'm half way there

That 1st pic was taken maybe 30 yrs ago. I cant find any pics with the Keystone center lines on it. Here is what it looks like today not much of any difference just that the paint I guess I stripped some time ago is the only difference. Ain't she a beaut. LOL

The outside looks are going to stay as she is, the eng won't be painted this time around, The inside Upholstery will all be new again, I think the old Keystone rims will return. YOU are right she looks good that way. All she has is surface rust "NO Rot at all, I have owned her since 1980
