What a great shot from the back seat. Your son know where the fun happens! My young lad tells me that watching me shift is mesmerizing.

I went to start replacing my carpet, pulled the old one out and found some more sheet metal tasks!  Gotta replace driver's front floor, but may have dodged a bullet on passenger side.  I'll wire wheel the floors and we'll see the extent. The real cruncher for me is the fact that my 4 speed hump rotted out in the bottom back driver's side corner.  Perhaps it could be repaired in that area, as I'm sure they aren't available repro.

The 1968-72 Chevelle Manual Trans Hump is very similar....and very inexpensive. I would purchase two of them (blend the two into what you need) and you can easily make what you need out of the two. Nice winter project

one of my best friends in HS had a 1973 Laguna S3..( Similar car?) had BBC - car was white and green- with the ever legendary swivel buckets... We'd throw lawn darts out the window @ 100mph...yeah - pretty stupid but may be why I went into aviation..who knows? - Love these cars! they're hard to find! and not very common - you are a lucky dude!

Thank you Tim! That is nice to hear about my car. Love the old stories, lawn darts hahaha! Yes- the First year of the Laguna was 1973, very same car as mine but Laguna had different front end obviously with the Endura, painted rear bumper instead of chrome, extra wide chrome pot metal taillight bezels, and Laguna-specific interior seat patterns and door patterns. Also Laguna front fender emblems and dash emblem.

The running joke with us in the G3 community (G3 stands for the 3rd generation GM- A body design cars of the Collonade-style with the B pillar post and fixed rear quarter windows) is that no matter if it's a Chevelle or Malibu or SS everyone who sees it says "wow...Laguna, right?" hehe.

1973 was last year for the Chevelle SS. 1974 started the Laguna Type S-3 which ran thru 1976. The 75&76 years had the raked nose in the front.

Hey thanks for thinking of me Randy, I appreciate it! Yeah a bunch of us have been drooling over that car in the G3 community, especially if it’s the real deal.

That '73 would be well bought. Pretty easy to verify the '73s as the engine is coded into the vin. I'd be surprised if that car lasts another day on CL.

Unfortunately that ad has been posted several times over the course of a year. The photos are 5 years old which is concerning
