So damn cool!!!!!!! It's a video that all real car guys can relate to, well done my friend. I bet it hits 2 Million Views

Now everyone will be making fun wild engine start up video's. Ryan will probably get naked and run around the neighborhood like Will Ferrell in "Old School" Priceless!

Hehe Merry Christmas Kevin,I really appreciate the support you have shown me over the span of this project! It means a lot to me!! I was absolutely beside myself!!
I appreciate you looking out for me I did open the door after i shot the video. The fumes got bad really quick! I ran the car for a bit after I stoped the video. I figured someone would call the police as the city I live in is 2.5 square miles and we have our own police department. I even fired it again just because I wanted to hear it again lol. No one said anything and no cops lol!My girlfriend Julie is in the background and was helping me with the camera on part of this video. She was a bit surprised to say The least.

That’s a milestone if I ever saw one.

Running around the neighbourhood right now, -5F (“I was in the pool”)

Congrats, and love the battery disconnect system in the trunk (serious)

Wow, what a great way to end 2017! Now you have a couple months to tie up loose ends and do that burn out! So very happy for you, I truly admire your thoroughness and patience while you took care of details. Can't wait for the next episode!

Great work on the tank by the way.

Pat

Thanks for tuning in everyone
Ryan what kind of power did the Engine make I saw 6 pulls on the dyno? You have got to be super excited.looking forward to seeing the finished car!!

Here is an update and walk around video. This is the first time the car has been out of the garage, under its own power since the major refurbishing started late last January of 2017. I built an exhaust system with the ability to swap mufflers quickly with v-band clamps. I have really quiet walker 18160 mufflers on the car in the video. I used a Pypes narrow tunnel long x-pipe system to start and used a take off system from a truck that was being scrapped for some of the bends i would need.I also have a set of Borla Pro XS mufflers I fit to the car that are a bit louder for when the mood strikes. Once it was all welded I prepped, primed and painted the system with Flat Black VHT exhaust paint to hide it a bit! I'm still buttoning up a laundry list of smaller items in preparation for spring and summer driving.

IMG_1581.JPG

IMG_1580.JPGThank you Dan,Pat and Tim for the comments! Tim it's really tempting to take a vacation to OKLAHOMA and help on your 67. I'm haven't figured it out yet,I either love working on cars or I'm a glutton for punishment, lol I just love Hot rods!
Well here's a quick update, on Friday the 26th all the snow had melted and the streets around me we're dry and it was sunny and 46 degrees outside so Julie and I took the car around the block a few times! We really didn't have any issues and it was great to finally drive the car. On Saturday afternoon it was 50 and sunny so I texted a buddy of mine and said I would meet him on Woodward Ave. I checked a bunch of stuff on the car,set the toe on the front end and cleaned it up a bit. Away I went to the gas station for a splash of fuel.Everything acted ok so I headed to Woodward. All good-the car needs a tune to smooth out some things a bit but I knew that going into this. No real issues to report I want to get a few miles on the car before I go to get it tuned to iron out any bugs beforehand if needed. I'm really happy with it and it drives like a dream everything is nice and tight !! Im so glad I did the body bushings and have all New suspension parts etc! Here's a few shots of my buddy's 64 Biscayne and my 68. His 64 is still wearing its original paint it's a really cool 2 tone gold with a cream colored roof. 230  6 cyl and a glide.
Enjoy
