Sorry to hear of the TKO 600's demise. But as the saying goes, when one door closes often another one opens. Will be great to hear how your updates affect performance.

Got a little seat time in this past weekend.Me and a buddy went to North Star dragway in Denton Texas to run another muscle car challenge race. It's an eighth mile track so no quarter mile times. Ran a best of 7.28@95mph. Also my 60ft times are headed the right direction with a 1.67. My converter seems a little tight so i'll be working on that, but I'm happy with my results. My car sure doesn't seem as violent off the line as it was but it hooks up way better!Sorry but I only took 1 picture this time but the color of this BIMG_20170507_140331_014[1].jpguick was awesome! I thought it was black until it parked next to me.

This doesnt really have anything to do with traction, but I thought I would put this here. I recently decided to put an electric fuel pump in my chevelle and went with the aeromotive stealth 340 pump- tank setup. Very nice! Powder coated with the pump already installed. no pics because Im sure everybody knows what a fuel tank looks like, lol. Now some traction info. I went to tNt friday here in Amarillo. I was having fuel delivery problems. I could only get about 1/8 mile and then the car would nose over. After some brainstorming with friends it came out to be a venting problem. Seems to be working great tonight!! Ill try to go friday and get some updated numbers but last friday wasnt a bust. Best 60 ft Ive ever got in Amarillo -ever 1.68 @ 6500 DA. Side note, have anyone of you seen the srt jeeps? Wow!I ran 1 last Friday with my fueling issue so I ran to the 1/8 and let off. This jeep ran a 1.90 60 ft, 7.55 1/8th @103 and 11.28@135 mph.Very nice runner and it would have BLEW me away in the quarter, but I beat it to the 1/8th!

Glad to see you are getting it dialed in Tommy. There's quite a few of the SRT Grand Cherokee's around here, some have been messed with a bit. They scoot along a lot quicker than I gave them credit for. Really nice 60 Ft time congrats. Just curious what did you do
to fix the venting issue?

My wife's cousin is a Big Wig at GM in Detroit. He drives a new SRT Cherokee.....I have driven his, they are indeed fast. BUT JUST NOT NEARLY AS COOL AS A FAST CLASSIC MUSCLE CAR Especially if it's a Post Sedan

Larry, the instructions say if you make over 500 flywheel hp,to y the tank vent and the pump hat vent together and use the supplied roll-over vent(valve). I y'd them together and ran them to the stock vent tube,(the one that loops in the trunk). My fix was to seperate them, and the tank vent went to the stock vent tube and the pump hat vent went up and to the roll-over valve. Seems good now. Maybe the stock vent tube didnt have enough capacity for both vents?

Tommy,Thank you very much for the quick response and sharing your fix. I am setting up my fuel system using the Phantom 340 and planned on just using  my stock vent To the pump.  I will make sure to use both vents like you explained. I cant thank you enough for the help!!Priceless!! Thanks Tommy im sure you just saved me from troubleshooting fuel system issues!
