Congratulations Ryan, I'm glad you were able to pull the trigger - you'd probably be kicking yourself HARD if you'd passed on it. Big thanks to Pete also, and welcome to the site!

Hey Ryan, I enjoyed our chat and can sense your enthusiasm in the tone of your voice. You are one lucky guy, as some seasoned Olds veterans spend a lot of time searching for the parts you have. The car is a great one, but what came with it is nothing short of amazing. Please take your time, do adequate research and consult with us "Olds Oldtimers" before making any decisions. Congrats, you have hit the "Automotive Powerball"!!!

If an original owner of a 1969 Chevelle 300 Deluxe SS396 post in similar condition, with similar documentation wants to trade straight up I will consider the offer and say NO, I am committed to this ol,girl!!

Those are very cool......just an FYI, I`m sure the decals have been well cared for....I have installed various NOS decals that were no longer good as the adhesive backing was just simply too old. Hopefully yours will work when you finally put them on the car.

Congrats Ryan on a great car! Good things come to those who wait and I'd bet you're wearing out the kitchen/garage door hinges sneaking peeks at that W-Machine on every television commercial break!
