Newbie here to the site. Found it from a link over on Yenko.net. Here my A4 Platinum Silver w/ M6S Pewter & Black bucket seat interior A12 440-6bbl Road Runner. I do run the Pure Stock Muscle Car Drags and F.A.S.T. Factory Stock races when I have time.

Welcome aboard Lon. Beautiful A12 car! Feel free to post more photos. I "inserted" your photo into your message (instead of leaving it as a thumbnail). You can do this by clicking on "insert" next to your photos file name when you upload it. Can you tell us more about the car (how you found it, what you've done to it etc)?

Hi Lon

Welcome to 2doorpost.com

Happy New Year

The guys here would love to learn about the history of your RR, a link or two would be easiest.

I'll have to try to remember to upload some from my shop computer. Don't have but the 1 pic I posted on my work laptop.

Finding and speaking with the original owner was one for my 2014 highlight reel.

After talking with a friend while showing the car at MCACN I decided to offer the RR back to the original owner. Sent him a text one morning and didn't hear from him for almost 2 weeks. He put a lot of thought into it and has decided to no longer pursue the car, was afraid of getting into mischief with it all over again.

Great story about a great car! I can relate the stress you had with the title. A few years ago I bought a 59 Dodge Royal D500 from a fellow who imported it into Canada in 1975. Only problem was he didn't bother to register the car! Before I would purchase it I drove the (now 70 something year old) guy to customs and then to the license office to get the car properly in his name. We spent about 6 hours doing so. Felt bad dragging the guy all over the place but it had to be done.
