Slow going on the Blue 51. I welded 2X3 rails on the 53 frame and as I progressed towards the rear the crusty frame proved too much for me. I am in the process of having a fab shop around the corner from me do the 51 frame and set up the fixed rear FRONT spring mount to locate the axle and tack in the pivot mount until I get the full weight onto the car.

I don't like having others do my work but since we are in the process of getting the place for sale and I am in the process of replacing the roof bows on our car trailer that was crushed by snow and ice time is getting short.

Have been enjoying the stock Maroon 51 which picked up a participants top choice at the 1st judging show we went to. I normally tear off the registered number but was in a hurry to meet up with Bernice at a restaurant in town.
