oh boy looks like fun! very clean, well-organized work, but then again, you are a Master so you don't get that level by being sloppy.

any specifics you can share? My day-2 dream for my car is to build a correct BBC Mark 4 LS7 crate engine and put an M-22 behind it and go nuts.

My pleasure Kevin. It is a 433 cu. in. engine. I used a 454 block because 427 blocks are too rare and valuable and this isn't a restoration. I sonic tested 7 blocks before I found this one. It is bored and honed with a torque plate, decked and align honed. The crank is a rare one. It is a 7115 forging 5140 L-88 crank that is still standard. Speaking of an LS-7, the rods are just that. I did change out the OEM Boron bolts for ARP fasteners, but I still have the original bolts. The pistons are by Wiseco that I custom ordered with a thicker crown and lower top ring to hold up to nitrous better. The cam is a mechanical roller from Crane. Rings are by Total Seal and bearings are Clevite H bearings. Studs top and bottom are also from ARP. I'll post more details when I get the top end together and there are more goodies to come.

Very good combo. I had a 7115 crank in my 427 race engine. Got it for 300 bucks thru racing junk in 2000 I bet those bargains are long gone. I had a crane mech. Roller cam too, .634/.621 lift. Kinda mild for BBC race but I was limited by the iron heads I had.

Nitrous, wow that beautiful 67 is gonna fly!

Thanks Kevin and Dan. No 6-71 here Dan. It's a Blower Shop Stage 3 10-71. This isn't a street blower by any means. I'm going racing. The conversion to E-85 is next. Then the cage and other safety equipment.

Take a look in the Screening Room for vids
