Thanks for the update Chad. That is a truly great score and a testament to your dedication to get things just right. You are right about the smog system and Muncie shifter. That was all gone on my original 68. I will confess to removing the smog stuff when I put headers on it and I also installed the Competition Plus Hurst.

You story also makes me wonder how many drive trains were pulled out of truly special and unique cars to go into Camaros or similar cars.  On the other hand I can certainly believe that some of them were wrecked.

Kevin I will probably use the Muncie shifter. I do have the correct Hurst Comp plus kit for '68 fullsize also.

That is so cool!! Looks like it had some storage dirt accumulation and you cleaned it up well enough to show it off a little. I know you searched a lot of channels to find it, but I have to think good luck was on your side! I am sure the Biscayne liked it when you put a heart back in it!
