I actually have one of these, a 1952 Willy's Aero, 2 door sedan, that was a rod on the streets of Brantford, Ontario, back in the 60's. These were unibody cars even back then. The last time I had seen it prior to purchasing it was in 1966 when it came through the A & W. The ownership I recieved, (title), was dated 1966 and still in the name of the owner from that time. Back then it was flat black primer, on a straight axle with a 322 Buick nailhead. I found it 32 years later and bought it; it was still on the axle, still the flat black, no engine, and body wise it was in good shape. A friend and myself built a frame for it, reunibodied it, took the straight axle out and replaced it with a Mustang 2 front end. We installed a small block chevy but it didn't just seem right. I bought a 392 Hemi for it and thats when I moved on to my 55 Ford Panel truck, both of which are still sitting. I'm getting too old for all of my projects at this point. There is a beautiful 52 Willy's rod, 2 dr sedan, here in Brantford with a 425 Buick nailhead, two fours and a four speed; absolutely one of the nicest cars I have ever seen. Doug.

Sorry I'm so slow at answering anybody. I should keep up to date but I don't actually think about it. If these pictures actually show up its after we took the straight axle out and made the new frame
with mustang 2. I mounted my small block, 350-350, but it isn't going to do the car justice, hence I bought the 392 hemi. I installed the small block in my 55 Ford panel truck and thats about where both vehicles sit at this point. I'm too busy restoring the Strato Chief to think about these two. Oh well, someday.

Sorry; as you can see I don't have a clue how to do pictures hence I seldom try. As usual I have made a mess out of your forum but unfortunately thats what comes from an amateur trying to load pictures. I don't know what I did in either of the three posts. I didn't think the first one worked so I tried again; and then again; and then finally again. Doug.
