Here's my 1964 Chevy II Sedan. I have posted some of these in the welcome section allready, but thought I would start a new post here so I can keep adding pics as I make progress. Just got the car a couple months ago, it's a factory L6/Powerglide car. Factory options include - A02 Tinted Windshield, M35 Powerglide Trans, U73 Rear Antenna and B70 Padded Dash. It's a rust free Calif project car I plan on restoring with some upgrades.

Picked up these Nova number/date correct ram horn exhaust manifolds. Now if I only had a engine to put them on.

Thanks, my plan is to go with a crate engine. I will be installing a CBR Rack and Pinion conversion kit which will allow me to use   a normal rear sump pan.

Began removing front brakes and brake lines today. Decided to upgrade to a dual master and replace all the lines while I have the  front end apart.

Thanks for the compliments, I think they call it OCDb. Finished removing the brake lines today from the diff forward and got the master cylinder off. I liked the look of the original single, but am going to opt for the safer dual. For some reason its not letting me insert images now?

A little more front end removal today-

Coil cover and coil spring out, the Nova coil spring compressor was money well spent.

Upper Control arm and spindle will be reused.

Lower control arm and strut rod off. These will be replaced w/ CBR tubular A Arms.

You can sure tell its not a Canadian car

you'd have a floor full of rust and be going for more fuel for the torches

Have not updated in awhile, here are a few pics.

Finished removing front suspension

Idler arm off

Next up remove strut rod brackets

These are riveted on, drilled the centers, crosscut and an air chiseled off

Both brackets and crossmember out

Steering wheel and column out

Steering box and shaft coming out

Here's where I'm at now. De-greasing and griming engine compartment and wheel wells. Then a few "aftermarket" holes to weld up before alot of sanding and prep.
