Thanks Dan. A quick update on the car: the 455 Buick Q-jet carb (800 cfm) has the mods done and is in the final assy stage. Hoping to get it on the car this week and do some last of the season drag racing.

Made it to Woodburn Dragstrip for a test & tune. The new carb was rich but a turn on the APT screw fixed that. The new 3/8 fuel line solved the fuel delivery issue but uuuhhhh, hmmmm, with the awesome torque the engine is now creating, I should have thought to buy bigger Drag Radials. The 60 ft times went in the toilet with 30 ft of wheel spin! 25 psi....spin, 20 psi.....spin, 15 psi.....spin! That's with a 1200 rpm launch and over 100 mph through the traps! This winter I plan to install Dutchman axles and move up to 275R x 15 Drag Radials and look forward to next year.

Jeb, Thats a very nice car you have,I like what yo have done so far and your strip times are impressive and will get better.

Do you have a stall convertor with your combo? If not you might check into a decent one to help you launch the car,the better you can do off the line will help in your quest to better 1/4 mile times.
