We used to have so many 2 door sedans in Clinton 2 with straight axles
The road is long with many a winding turn
I know it looks like nothing, but this one sure was tempting a few years ago. The reason it was so tempting is the pedigree. 65 Acadian 2 door post, documented 327/250 hp 4 speed. Also, very low body number, I think it was body number 84 or something like that.

i'm surprised there weren't alot more of these earlier lightweight chevy II/acadians running around with 327 4spds

No idea. I think I still have his number somewhere. Such a rare car, but such a MAJOR project...
my '64 400 series ChevyII... the "FLYER Special"Heidt's, QA1's, 377, TKO600, 10 bolt Eaton posi 3:73's...
That's a great looking '64!!! Super looking engine compartment, a beautiful cobalt(?) blue color, and I really like how the trailing licks of the flames wrap around one another...... something I've not seen before. Also like the placement of the cross-flags on the C-pillar. Subtle, but somehow just right!!
I have a set of those cross-flags in place of the production Chevrolet emblem on the trunk of my '62 Biscayne.
Thanks for posting those pics!!
