Here's the '62 BelAir I owned, but sold approx 9 years ago. It ran a 283 +.040, 4 speed, 3.36 Posi.  Wife said it had to go as it and my Biscayne were hogging the garage and her car sat outside during the winter.

Here's it's replacement..... you can see the BelAir in the garage in the first picture.

biggrin Still have the same wife, and she's an angel to have put up with me all these years. In fact, we celebrate our 27th anniversary this Friday (the 13th). I actually had both the BelAir and Biscayne at the same time for about a 9 month period. And even though both were 2-dr posts, I liked the Biscayne better as I've always thought that Less is More.wink

A few less than pristine 2 dr post cars. These were photographed in a large junkyard in northern Maine in 1991. Some of the cars were sold off in 1994 or 95, and the rest were crushed. I went back in 99 and the place was bare.

Many of the cars were completely intact and largely rust free - just driven in and parked.

In the 65-66 page there is a blue 2 door Bel Air drag car, a former 396 Maine police car that was acquired from this year before it was cleaned out.

There were also a few Ford and Pontiac 2 door post cars - you can see a 62 Galaxie in the background here.

You can see that the 62 and 63 cars were physically intact.
