Tonight I was at the Meaford cruise night.  I got to see a car I had passed on the road a couple of times in the past few weeks that I had never seen around.  As soon as I parked, I made a B Line to check it out.  I spoke to the owner and he told me its story.  Originally manufactured in Oshawa, it's a 17 000 mile car from new.  The paint on the roof, trunk and hood are original.  The interior is original.  It's a 6 cylinder, Powerglide car with power steering and brakes.  It was originally purchased about 40 minutes from my house by a little old lady.  She had it for a few years and put only 10 000 miles on it.  It was then sold to a collector who lived in the same town who had it until 2000.  He then sold it to his friend with 14 000 miles on it.  The friend, now 88, sold it to the current owner last fall.  In the current owner's words, "They're still out there."  He plans to drop a 350 with Vortec heads and a TH 350 transmission in it.  I say 427 and a 4-speed are more like it.  On second thought, maybe a L-79 would be the way to go.

Of course it mentioned the great folks here at 2doorpost and said he should check us out.Front.jpgChevelle Pass Side.jpgInterior.jpg

i received my vinyl and cloth to eventually recover my seats in my Beaumont but could not get the orig no 728 trim so i ordered the cloth that really looks like the cloth in that 67

i dont even want to unroll the package i received 2 months ago with the winyl and the cloth al rolled up but i pulled it out slightly and it shure looks like this cloth on that chevelle

Shipping would be crazy money.... Best to find a set in the states and come to a local event at the same time in the states and have them shipped to the hotel you are staying.....like MCACN
